I have been working on a commission to knit copper wire panels for a local designer ( its all a wee bit secret as they are part of a competition work , so I wont be able to show just what they are being used for till after judging ). but it has been fun, and I love the fluidity, and sculptural qualities of knitted wire.
When I havent been knitting, I have been engaged in the time gobbling task of job-hunting. If someone in the government added up all the time spent writing tailored skill C.Vs, cold-calling, browseing vacancy websites, and the daily news paper, not to mention the interveiw process, they would find it would be far more efficient to to start a central database that would match vacancies to job hunters and just give them the job.!
On the up-side, it is the weekend, the sun is shining here and I have a book to read called ” The Architectural Uncanny “
